Royal Textile Academy

The Vision

Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan is a non-profit institution in Thimphu, established in 2005 under the patronage of HRH Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck to preserve and promote Bhutan’s traditional textile heritage. The Academy serves as a national centre for education, training, exhibitions, and conservation, supporting the continuity of one of Bhutan’s most valued cultural art forms.
